Extra activities at Wicton Farm

Games Room

Following a recent conversion, the old hop kilns contain a large games room. Guests can choose from table tennis,pool table and table football. There is a large selection of ride-on toys, outdoor games including badminton, croquet and children's go-karts.  The games room also contains  a variety of bicycles should guests wish to cycle along the country lanes of Herefordshire. All of this is included free of charge while staying at the cottage.

Feeding the Animals

Lindy and Anthony welcome guests who want to come and help Lindy feed the animals or watch Anthony milk the cows. This usually happens at about 5:00pm each evening.

Cooking Classes

Lindy runs a variety of cooking classes from the farm house kitchen. These are for children and can be arranged once at the farm. Lindy is always happy to plan whatever the children want, whether it be bread making, biscuits, cake icing or making a complete family meal.

Times: 11:00 am - 3:30 pm
Cost: £25 per child, includes all cooking ingredients and refreshments.

Walking around Wicton

Surrounded by countryside there are a number of footpaths crossing the farm as well as many walks in the surrounding areas. Enjoy bird wacthing, strolls to country pubs and the local town of Bromyard all from Wicton. If you want to venture further afield then read about some of the places you can visit from the maps guidebooks at the cottage.

Riding at the Noakes

The Noakes riding school is a short walk away from Wicton along a disused railway line.  Lessons and hacks can be arranged during the week and regular hour long lessons are available at weekends. Vist www.noakesfarmridingschool.co.uk to find out more information.
