The cottage has been welcoming guests all through the autumn months and winter is now in progress. Vistors have been enjoying feeding the animals, the log fire and cosy nights in. Christmas is fast approaching and the cottage has been decorated with a tree and holly ready for the festivities.
The cows have also had something to look forward to this Christmas – A new cow shed. Recent guests at Wicton will have noticed the huge amount of excavations and hard work that has been going on during the year. This has eventually finished and the cows are in a new purpose built shed. This is equipped with new lighting, large sand cubicles to make the cows as comfortable as possible. We also have installed solar panels on the roof so its not just the paint that’s green. We hope you will be able to come and see it on your next stay at the cottage!
